During the Munich Jewellery Week, the "Treasure Peninsula" exhibition, featuring graduate students from the Metal Crafts Department at Seoul National University, will be held. The exhibition aims to showcase the diversity of Korean contemporary crafts and achieve cultural exchanges.
The theme of this exhibition is "Excavation." Visitors will have the opportunity to discover young Korean artists and explore their artistic worlds. The exhibition will feature around 50 diverse craft pieces created by 20 graduate students, incorporating various materials, technical experiments, and aesthetic considerations.
The works will be displayed as if treasures unearthed in Korea peninsula. The exhibition space will evoke an excavation site, offering visitors an experience reminiscent of being in the midst of a dig, allowing them to explore the various stories embedded in the artists' creations.
