Sophie-Charlotte Bombeck M.A. (*1991) lebt und arbeitet als freischaffende Kunsthistorikerin und Kuratorin in Augsburg und München. Sie forscht und publiziert zu theoretischen Fragestellungen zeitgenössischer Kunst, insbesondere zum Verhältnis von Kunst und Wissenschaft, Ästhetik und Gesellschaft. In kontinuierlichen Kollaborationen mit Künstler_innen untersucht sie dabei die Schnittstellen von in situ Produktionen und künstlerischer Forschung.

Sie arbeitet mit zahlreichen Kunstinstitutionen zusammen, ist Direktorin des Kunstraum ‚super+Centercourt‘ in München, Mitglied des internationalen Kollektivs ‚Rhythmen Section‘ und seit 2023 im Vorstand des Kunstvereins Augsburg.

Bombeck konzipiert und organisiert Ausstellungen im In- und Ausland, hält Vorträge und Workshops an verschiedenen Kunsthochschulen, darunter die Academy of Fine Arts Hubei (Wuhan, China), die Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts (Guangzhou, China) und das Department of Fine Arts an der University of Hertfordshire (London, England). Zuletzt kuratierte sie Des Stijl and the Future im United Art Museum, Wuhan und OCT Boxes Museum, Shenzhen (China), Ambiguous/Unambiguous, Plattforms Project (Athen, Griechenland), painting vs. image Karşı Sanat, (Istanbul, Türkei), SO NEAR YET SO FAR mit den Künstlergruppen Rhythm Section, Merkezkaç Art Collective (Diyarbakır), Sanat-Kollektiv (Istanbul) im Palmenhaus der Villa Waldberta (München, Deutschland). Zuletzt übernahm sie die künstlerische Leitung der ersten Biennale Lindau 2022.

Sophie-Charlotte Bombeck M.A. (*1991) lives and works as a freelance art historian and curator in Augsburg and Munich. She researches and publishes on theoretical issues of contemporary art, in particular on the the relationship between art and science, aesthetics and society. In continuous collaborations with artists, she investigates the interfaces between in situ productions and artistic research.

She collaborates with numerous art institutions, is director of the art space 'super+Centercourt' in Munich, member of the international collective 'Rhythms Section' and since 2023 on the board of the Kunstverein Augsburg.

Rosali Wiesheu

Rosali Wiesheu (1987), Dr. des., studierte Philosophie, Kunstgeschichte und Neuere Deutsche Literatur an der Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München und an der École Normale Supérieure Paris. Durch ein Praktikum beim Auktionshaus Phillips de Pury in München gewann sie Einblicke in den Sekundärkunstmarkt. Ein ein weiteres Praktikum beim SPIEGEL in Hamburg im Ressort Gesellschaft ermöglichte es Rosali Wiesheu, ihre journalistischen Kompetenzen auszubauen. Von 2009 bis 2011 arbeitete sie beim Münchener Lokalradio M94.5, dessen Kulturredaktion sie von 2010 bis 2011 leitete. Von 2011 bis Juli 2013 betreute sie den Social Media- und Pressebereich der Galerie Klüser und vertrat die Galerie bei Messen, u.a. der Art Basel, der Art Cologne und der Cologne Fine Art. Im Juli 2012 gründete sie den Verein Kultur-Netzwerker e.V., dem sie als Vorsitzende vorsteht. Seit September 2013 betätigt sie sich als Autorin bei dem Online-Magazin ZEITJUNG.de. Von 2012 bis 2016 realisierte sie ihre Dissertation über die literarische und philosophische Rezeption des Schweizer Künstlers Alberto Giacometti, die sie von 2014-2015 ans Deutsche Forum für Kunstgeschichte nach Paris sowie anschließend als Visiting Scholar für ein Semester an die Columbia University in New York führte. Von April 2013 bis Februar 2014 hatte Rosali Wiesheu einen Lehrauftrag der Katholischen Universität Eichstätt inne. Den Kunstraumsuper+CENTERCOURT betreut sie gemeinsam mit Viktoria Tiedeke seit Mai 2014 als Kuratorin.

Rosali Wiesheu (1987), Dr. des., received her degree in philosophy, art history and German literature from Ludwig-Maximilians-University and École Normale Supérieure in Paris, France in 2011. She completed internships at the auction house Phillips de Pury in Munich (9/2008) and at the newspaper DER SPIEGEL (9-10/2009) in Hamburg. From 2009 to 2011 she worked in arts and culture journalism at the Munich radio station M94.5 and headed their art department from 2010 to 2011. From 2011 to 2013 Rosali Wiesheu supervised the press and trade fair sector of Galerie Klüser, Munich. In July 2012 she cofounded with two fellow doctoral students at LMU the non-profit association Kultur-Netzwerker e.V., in order to foster cultural engagement in Munich and its suburbs. They were recently awarded the Deloitte Hidden Movers Award (11/2014) for non-profit projects. Since 2013 she has regularly written for the e-magazine ZEITjUNG.de about cultural phenomena such as the implicit sociological rules underlying everyday use of an elevator, the off-space of the “fitness studio” or the impact of scribbled drawings on toilet walls on our cultural heritage. From April 2013 to April 2014 she lectured on art history and historiography within the scope of the Master programme AISTHESIS. Historische Kunst- und Bilddiskurse at LMU Munich. In 2014 she cofounded with three Munich based artists and Viktoria Tiedeke the artist-run space super+CENTERCOURT. Located in the centre of Munich, super+CENTERCOURT supports young international artists by providing exhibition space and by developing exhibition concepts together. Rosali Wiesheu began her PhD thesis in 2012, in which she examines the critical reception of Alberto Giacometti’s oeuvre and finished it in November 2016. She has pursued her research from September 2014 to September 2015 in Paris within a PhD scholarship programme provided by the German Centre for the History of Art. Another scholarship led her from September 2015 to December 2015 to New York City where she continued her PhD research within a doctoral scholarship at Columbia University. Rosali Wiesheu currently lives and works in Munich.

Viktoria Wilhelmine Tiedeke

Viktoria Wilhelmine Tiedeke (1985), M.A., studierte Spanische Philologie, Betriebswirtschaftslehre und Kunstgeschichte an der Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München und an der Universidade de Santiago de Compostela. Praktika und Assistenzen in Galerien, Auktionshäuser und Projekträumen sowie an der LMU München. Ihre Magisterarbeit schrieb sie in Spanien an der Fundación/Museo Eugenio Fernandez Granell zur post-surrealistischen Ästhetik der paisajes mágicos des spanischen Exilkünstlers Eugenio Fernandez Granell in den 1960er Jahren unter Gesichtspunkten Homi K. Bhabhas Migrationstheorie.

2013 Kuratorin der Einzelausstellung der britischen Künstlerin Paula Rego für Fred Jahn in der Münchner Residenz. Seit 2014 Autorin für das Allgemeine Künstlerlexikon (AKL). Wissenschaftliches Volontariat 2014-2017 am Museum Gunzenhauser sowie in der Generaldirektion der Kunstsammlungen bei Dr. h.c. Ingrid Mössinger in Chemnitz; Ausstellungen zu Erich Henkel, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Pop (Hockney, Warhol, Lausen), der Russischen Avantgarde und Hans-Henrik Grimmling, einem Vertreter der subversiven und regiemekritischen Intermims-Generation der DDR.

2015 -2017 weiterbildendes Master Studium "Kulturen des Kuratorischen" an der HGB - Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst in Leipzig. Im Rahmen des Studiums entstand die Ausstellung "Vom Zeigen und Schauen" im GRASSI Museum, Museum für Völkerkunde zu Leipzig. Gemeinsam mit Jennifer Smailes und Jens Geiger kuratierte sie die Darknet online Ausstellung: "fiberandliquids.tv", gehostet vom Hamburger Kunstverein, der GfzK Leipzig und dem Kunsthaus Graz.

Neben dem super+CENTERCOURT betreut sie die Kunstsammlung von Horst und Gabriele Siedle in Furtwangen.

Viktoria Wilhelmine Tiedeke (1985), M.A., received her degree in art history, Spanish philology (literature) and economics from Ludwig-Maximilians-University and Universidade de Santiago de Compostela in 2013. She completed several internships (Christies (5-7/2008), Galerie Jahn (8/2019), Galerie Klüser (9/2009-7/2010), artist front space OPA – Oficina para Proyectos del Arte A.C. in Mexico (10/2010-4/2011) supported by a DAAD scholarship. 2011/ 2012 she worked at the faculty of art history at LMU lecturing on New Objectivity. From 2011 to 2013 she supervised the press, PR and marketing department of Galerie Klüser. Within another DAAD scholarship in 2012/13 she wrote her master thesis in Santiago de Compostela as research fellow at Museo | Fundacion Granell.

2013 she curated for Fred Jahn at Residenz of Munich the first German solo show by the Portuguese-English Artist Paula Rego focusing on her unique etchings and lithographs. Since 2014 she writes for De Gruyter, Spanish Department of Allgemeines Künstlerlexikon (AKL). In 2014 she cofounded with three Munich based artists and Rosali Wiesheu the project space super+CENTERCOURT and Munich OFF Week festival. Located in the center of Munich, CENTERCOURT provokes an experimental collaboration of artist and art historians addressing thereby question of display and the curatorial. The project space supports young international artists by providing exhibition space, helping to apply for local fellowships and residencies and by developing the exhibition concept together.

From 2014 to 2017 she worked as junior curator at Museum Gunzenhauser | Kunstsammlungen Chemnitz, showing exhibitions on German Expressionism (Erich Henkel, Ernst Ludwig Kriecher), Pop (Hockney, Warhol, Lausen), Russian Avantgarde and Hans-Hendrik Grimmling, member of the subversive interims generation of GDR.

2015-2017 postgraduate Master “Cultures of the Curatorial” at HGB – Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst in Leipzig. During the studies the exhibition "On showing and looking" was realised GRASSI, the ethnological museum of Leipzig. Together with Jennifer Smailes and Jens Geiger she realised the darknet online exhibition: fiberandliquids.tv which was hosted by Kunstverein Hamburger Bahnhof, GfzK Leipzig und Kunsthaus Graz.
